Entertainment has always had stars.

But increasingly, audiences aren’t just following the people at the centre of the story.

They’re entering the worlds around them.

They learn the mythology.
Recognise the symbols.
Wear the fashion.
Play the games.
Create the memes.
Build the communities.

A great character can attract attention.

A great world can sustain it.

That’s why world-building is becoming one of entertainment’s most powerful tools. The film, song, game, or character becomes the doorway into something much larger—a culture people can return to, participate in, and make their own.

The star may still be the face.

But the world might be the thing people actually fall in love with.
